Has this happened to anyone else. It come back Sunday and has happened 3 days in a row 140 bpm and feeling dizzy and lightheaded it’s only lasting around 6 mins each time no way near as bad as before I was due another ablation in October anyway as 7 weeks after the ablation I had a junctional rhythm come where my heart keeps going in and out of rhythm when I ate and drank and sometimes just when I bent down or spoke to loud. I’m scared I’m at Disney world with my 2 beautiful kids and I’m smiling but deep inside I’m scared it’s something worse I’ve been having a lot of palpitations here and there more than I would normally and keep feeling flutters. I’m so nervous. Seem to not have much luck considering I also have bronchiectasis aswell 😢 maybe if someone else has experienced this after ablation that it’s come back? I suppose atleast I have one booked for October so hopefully my cardiologist will zap the svt once and for all this time!!!!

That’s great news that you are having a second ablation, it’s sole destroying when the SVT comes back after so long, I’ve just had my ablation 2 weeks ago for AFIB so early days for me, I know exactly how you feel feeling scared inside if I move and even feel the slightest flutter in my heart that’s it for me I just sit still until it’s time to go to bed just horrible

Thanks for taking your time to reply. It’s awful isn’t it I’m trying to be happy because I’m away but inside I’m a nervous wreck where I’m so scared the fact that it happened to return after 7 months and I’m away on holiday is probably making it worse for me to deal with. Let hope the ablation will work 2nd time round. Hope everything goes well for you. Take it easy for a while after the ablation slow and steady and at your pace. :)

Do whatever you can to chill out and reduce your anxiety. Not easy at Disney World, I know. Worrying won’t help you. Do you have any coping mechanisms? Slow, deep breathing, for example.

It happened also to me too when I was on holiday. Take something to relax. I took Helex when it was really bad and it helped. Last 2 months I take adtidepressive Paroxat and so far I am OK. I will have holter 24 hours in October. We will see. All the best to you!
