Kardia reading Af

Sent reading off to Kardia which came back saying AF sent off to my cardiologist who was very sure it was not AF any one else had experience of Kardia readings

I have a Kardia even though I know when I am in AF without the device ! I've never had a problem in the way you mention. I've had the device with me when I've been in hospital and the readings have been much the same as hospital readings

Never had AF before this just heavy episodes of ectopics so was bit taken aback my alivecors annalist & cardiologist

Saying just ectopics & wondered if anyone else had this outcome

Yes I’ve had the exact same thing - had 3 AF readings on the same evening, took the print outs to a and e and they said ‘not a fib but we have no idea what it is’!

I also paid for all three and the response was basically - it may or may not be af we can’t be sure 🤷‍♀️

Mine was a definitely but they have kindly refunded the cost and have checked it over again it was poor quality tracing and it turns out it was

Not AF which is great just ectopics one after the other

I paid £5 to have it checked with Kardia and they confirmed it as Af but my cardiologist disagrees??? What did A&E doctor think yours may have been

They said they didn’t know and it was difficult to interpret (they said that about all 3 recordings)

I send mine to cardiologist and he never has a problem reading them even if it’s not Of great quality as occasionally they can be : think you need a actual cardiologist to

Look at your tracing as these doctors look at literally thousands

My GP never heard of the Kardia but my cardiologist knew all about it and said it’s
