Have you come across info about SVT and low or high levels of potassium?

I have noticed that when my heart is irregular and is "trying" to get into an episode of SVT, if I eat a banana it seems to calm down.

When I suffered a sustained VT attack my blood tests noted an almost zero level of potassium and I was given two emergency doses in the next six hours. The low potassium was not the cause of the SVT (I have ARVC) but was a contributory factor.
