Hello I am 62 years old and developed AF 2 years ago. My symptoms are as many of you describe. During an attack I feel as if I am dying or at least having a stroke. So relieved when I come out the other side. It has helped a great deal reading your posts. Thanks! I am going to look at my diet, I think caffeine may be a problem for me. Rarely drink alcohol. Dietary advice / suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Jantietta1, I think you would get a better response posting on AFA - Atrial Fibrillation Association. There are hundreds of people with a wealth of knowledge on AFib 😃 Good Luck x
I was with SVT at the start then in 2015 found out that I had AF - have had my second ablation in the hope to help it, although I still have a few issues I have changed my diet and lifestyle as advised and I have been so pleased with such wonderful results of losing weight as a bonus for this change. I found by doing this change meant cooking from scratch, no processed or fried foods anymore, with light exercise and drinking more water. I have change my tea to Green Tea and that has so many benefits too. Enjoy the journey with your diet and you will be pleasantly surprised like I was..
