Ablation - Successful!!

Well after my cardiac ablation being cancelled in late October I attended on Monday (7th Nov) and had the ablation! Took just over three hours but the electro physician said it had been a success! stopped tablets! yay!! Just on warfarin still but can deal with that! Recovery (although not fully as yet) has been quite quick and straightforward!

Thought i'd share my experience as a few people had said (when I was asking questions) that only negative experiences are usually put on forums etc and never the positive - so for anyone who is due to go for theirs - good luck and don't worry, it's not as bad as I thought!

That's great news and always good to read a positive. I had my ablation on Wednesday and it has also been a success! I'm still feeling exhausted though and bit of chest pain and odd heart sensations. Worth it though and like you it was no where near as bad as I expected.

I am so pleased to hear. I suspect you were as worried as I was beforehand and your cancellation wouldn't have helped. I hope you recovery goes well aswell. All the best.
