I had open heart surgery two years ago and have recently been getting dull pain in my chest and strong palpitations, along with very strong pulsations and twitches in my blood vessels. This is particularly noticeable in my wrist, neck and legs.
Has anyone ever experienced this?
thank you.

I had mechanical valve replacement nearly 18 months ago. I haven't experienced these symptoms though I do still get chest discomfort, particularly if I'm ill with anything else - cough/cold, stomach upset, or if I've been more physically active than usual.
I think you'd be best telling your GP about these symptoms and being examined by them and I wouldn't be fobbed off until after Christmas. If you don't have a home BP machine that might be worth getting and monitoring twice a day to build a picture of what it normally is, for you. I think your GP will appreciate that.
