aortic valve stenosis and Sertralinr

hi I have aortic valve stenosis and has just been prescribed Sertraline for anxiety. But am a bit worried as says can get fast irregular heartbeat, plus am on omapsrazole and warning sbout that! So is anyone else on this and any effects? My cardiologist approved this with my dr. 😯

Yep I have moderate to severe aortic stenosis and I'm on sertraline and omeprozole, never knew they cause problems like that x

Hi, I don't know about sertraline, but I have not long had an aortic valve replacement and am on 2 different antidepressants and haven't had any adverse events, I checked with my cardiologist and he was happy for me to continue. I would have a quick chat with your GP, or even the pharmacist , they are fantastic!
