5 months post heart surgery and I’ve committed to doing the 50 miles during October for the BHF. Is anyone else planning to do this?

This photo was taken 2 months after surgery and with our new granddaughter who was born when I was in ICU recovering after the op. Having made a full recovery, I appreciate just how fortunate I am and how important it is to help raise awareness and support the journey of others. So, I'm raising money for the Charity to help and so far have got £850

jf you’d like to help please share the link and let’s see how much support we can get for the foundation and how much of a difference we we make for others who have to face similar experiences.

Happy Sunday everyone!

Best of luck with the walk! I'm 12 years in now from my heart surgery and still going strong - plenty of walks and a round of golf every week!

That’s brilliant and thank you. Pleased to hear things are going so well for you and hoping very much for the same!

Hopefully this is something that I will be able to attempt next year. Best wishes for the walk.
