Period pains a year after total abdominal hysterectomy....

I had a TAH a year ago and not all the time but just some times I get what feels like a period pain. Obviously I know I can’t have periods and I have no ovaries but it’s just that sensation of feeling like I’m going to have a period. I haven’t been to the docs yet.

Has anyone else experienced this please????

I am 2 1/2 months post op and have the feeling that I am going to get my period once a month. My doctor told me that it might happen so ignore it. I had endometriosis and fibroids. They only removed one ovary. That's why I was told I may feel symptoms until menopause.

I'm also 1 yr post op,TAH. The period pains you're feeling even after a year is normal from the research I've read. But you said you have no ovaries,I would call the doctor and ask if that's normal. I still have my ovaries and the research i done said if you still have ovaries you can and will have PMS symptoms.
