Painfull sex

I had a hysterectomy years ago. It took them three surgery before it was a complete hysterectomy. Recovery was ok had to have my inside froze due to slow healing. Now having problems with sex. Painful sex there for not really having any. Today my husband told me after 43 years of marriage he would find it else where. So what do you do about the pain.

Hi, I'm sorry to hear you're having a difficult time. There are many reasons why sex can be painful including vaginal atrophy and internal scar tissue. I suggest going to your GP to talk through the pain and be examined. If it's atrophy causing the pain, then there are good treatments available from local oestrogen to good lubricants.
