postmenopause may have ovaries or hysterectomy done

i am postmenopausal. if i have both ovaries removed or complete hysterectomy will i be experiencing menopausal symptoms again.

If you have both ovaries removed you will go into surgical menopause. I have no ovaries anymore.

Do not fear its not all bad. I had a total hysterectomy on 26/10/16 and have only had a few hot flushes. Sleep is a bit hit or miss but other than that I'm fine. Sometimes 7-8 hrs or sometime 4-6 hrs.

I agree 😊 I was post menopausal and barely see a difference in symptoms, 😊 Sleep still alludes me but otherwise fit and well after three months as expected 😊
