Deformed chest, JME, scholiosis, restricted breathing

I have had a deformed chest since birth, left side of chest about 3/4 inch higher than right at sternum. I have had JM Epilepsy since 14, about 400 + grand mal seizures. My spine is not particularly straight either, had prolapsed discs. As my chiropractor said to me, over the years I have fractured or broken every rib in my body due to epileptic seizures. February 2017 I had a seizure, but because I live on my own, never really found out how many ribs I broke, at least 5 +, [Local A&E prescribed a couple of pain killers then shoo!, shoo!] {three mid sternum, one under left arm, one under right arm} Since then wheezing, breathing bad especially lying in bed, dry cough. Cannot lay on back to sleep because of spine, or on left because of previous fractured skull, always lay on right hand side. Recently found breathing getting worse when trying to sleep, chest in such bad way, ribs regularly fracture just in everyday movement, [in chair, in bed, leaning suddenly?] Very hard trying to get to sleep, perpetual pain in sternum especially, very, very short of breath [ok when walking or in chair able to breath normally!] {I cannot sleep standing up??} I feel like I should cut open my chest right down the sternum to get normal breath, put a long tube in it? Another thing, might be nothing but my hands seem to be going slightly numb, sub consciously grasping hands all the time? Ironically had not any seizures, since change of epilepsy medication in April 2018! I am 63 years old, but this breathing troubles really started since February 2017, nothing to do with change of medication. Am very scared that these re fractures will mean a small bit of rib or bone will break off and puncture an internal organ or block my breathing? Is there a way of re building my chest in some way putting some sort of tubing down my sternum? Any intelligent advice appreciated?
