9efty9 says Hi!

I am a 70 year old male and don't have any particular health issues, like a lot of men, I prefer the ostrich approach to health. I've had a keen interest in human biology over many years and like the NHS Choices Behind the Headlines website because it gives an unbiased opinion on the latest medical headlines.

Try Dr Mercola - he has a wonderful daily newsletter, that covers health, the environment etc. Ignore the sales pitch!

Yes Dr Mercola is a brilliant example of what and what not to believe in. Also 'The truth About Cancer' by Ty Bolinger which is an eye opener and a recent top 3 best seller book.

What about statins everyone? For safety's sake I've stopped mine after reading conflicting {biased?} reports by top people in the medical world. A friend stopped his after suffering joint pains and cramps, which then cleared up.

I'll wait for a balanced assessment by the aforesaid experts!

You could do with Mercola too!! NHS Choices, isn't unbiased sadly. Just touting the same old party line, and in the pay of Big Pharma too!!
