Hi all , have you ever tried Turkey breast in stir fries before because I’ve been told it’s healthier than chicken !
I chopped my Turkey breast up and used a tablespoon of satay sauce with a little splash of water . Had one serving of fine noodles . It was delish .. Think it was roughly 600 calories.. not bad for my first meal today .

Your meal came out looking terrific and it looks absolutely delish.
I have never in depth looked at the difference between chicken and turkey but I'm under the impression that it's a lighter more leaner meat.
Hi Richard260 your meal looks really good and 600 calories fir a first meal very impressive. I think it’s down to personal taste what we put in stir fries.
That's a good stir-fry. The sesame seeds make it really visually appealing.
I googled why turkey might be healthier. I am not clear on the reasons. It might be slightly lower in saturated fat, but there is no evidence that is unhealthy for you.
Personally I prefer legs, skin on. After following the low fat/low calorie approach, it is now clear to me that isn't the way to permanent weight loss, and have embraced natural fat. When I eat breast, I will make sure it's accompanied by mayonnaise or a cream sauce.
