Calling All Readers!
This is our January 2021 Reading Rabbits Book Posting. You can post your comments and suggestions about any book/magazine/newspaper that does/doesn't have to do with any medical issues on this posting. You can mention about your favorite authors, as well. This posting will be pinned to the Pinned Posts for easier access.
We are starting a new section for the Reading Rabbits book posting. Each month, I will include a list of books that will hopefully be done in the next few months from now. 14. The Colorado Kid (Hard Case
Crimes) β Stephen King
Iβve started reading: β Home Sweet Homeβ, by Fern Michaels, Donna Kauffman and Melissa Storm. Each author has put their own stories into this one book. Itβs an anthology. The first story is written by Fern Michaels ( β Threeβs A Crowdβ). The second and third stories are:
( β New Beginnings in Blue Hollow Fallsβ), by Donna Kauffman and (β Bring Me Homeβ), by Melissa Storm. The entire book is 295 pages.
In β Threeβs A Crowdβ, Samantha Stewart was working for a TV station as a reporter and had gone to Afghanistan do part of her job. She had a daughter and quit/left her job after being in Italy to give birth to her daughter, Caroline. They both were in Italy for 3 years and then Samantha decided to go back to the States and Florida to see her parents. Itβs interesting how sometimes, even some surprises can become lovely things small or big.
I enjoyed this first story very much and was really surprised with how Fern Michaels had the story end. Very sweet and a possible dream come true for anyone making wishes for life changing events to happen in their own lives.
I have been reading, β New Beginnings In Blue Hollow Fallsβ, by Donna Kauffman. Iβm now on Chapter 2; page 122. Itβs where Katie MacMillan has come to help her sister who is told by the doctor to have bed rest because she is pregnant and has had some health issues so far. She has a few more months to go before the baby is supposed to be due. So far, everyone in the entire family keeps trying to come and visit their sister and that causes some stress. Katie tells her brothers that also came to visit/help to go home. Some of the members of the family who came to visit arenβt on the same continent, so they came a long way to visit.
While Katie is there, she is told by her sister, Pippa that Declan MacGregor was living in town. This seemed to get Katie a little upset, but wouldnβt let Pippa see that. Weβll see what happens next.
When I finish β Home Sweet Homeβ, the next book I plan to read will be β I Heart Londonβ, by Lindsay Kelk.
Okay, now to you! Canβt wait to hear about what youβve been reading lately. Happy readings!
