Fruit and Cottage Cheese

This is what I had today for my lunch. It was with mandarin oranges, cut up cantaloupe, half a peach and cottage cheese. It was really good and refreshing with the warm temperatures— despite the nonstop rain today. The entire meal had 36 carbs..😀👍

It looks delicious. I’ve been fancying a melon for a few weeks, it’s time I did something about it. I recently bought some peaches but they were too hard. I remember peaches when I was a kid, as soon as I bit into one the juice ran down my chin and onto my tee shirt.

I love ripe peaches too, they're hard to find in the stores, but I can find them at farmer's markets, by local farmers around the area where I live, and they're much nicer than the grocery stores.

I will have to go down to my nearest farmers market. My friend tends to know where they all are so I will consult her 😻

That’s fantastic news!😀👍 It’s almost the end of the season for peaches.

I am going to have to be sure to get some before they go off-season.

That looks gorgeous. Cottage cheese and fruit go well together. I love it with pears 😋
