Hi ShadowDee, it’s hard when your body is craving for food, so distracting and liquid sometimes can help it to pass. I am drinking peppermint tea at the moment which is really good.
I have some three seed and three grain crisp breads and a jar of almond butter in my desk drawer for snack emergencies.
Sometimes when I get home from work and I am ravinous I cut a bit of cheese up and put it on a plain rice cracker.

When I worked as a teacher I would be famished by the end of the day. For that reason I had bananas and yogurt (we had a fridge) and 🍎 apple , which was easily stored in my desk. I gave up looking for healthy snacks around to buy, and figured I had to bring my own . 😒
carrots are always a good, satisfying and easily portable emergency snack
Thanks all. I got some great ideas now. We do have a fridge at work. I'll make use of it.
I stayed from the vending machine 😊and stuck with my meal plan.
I rarely leave home without a bottle of filtered water & a snack box full of almonds, walnuts & brazils. I add seeds & dried fruit, & a piece or two of dark chocolate. Citrus fruit seems to travel better (in my bag) than apples & bananas as they get squished too easily.
