I am posting a link to a good read.

We certainly adopt many of the dietary tips given in this link.

Seems like the usual unsupported scare story from the Internet.

The dietary advance is nothing special, just eat lots of fruit and vegetables.

Interesting article. Having had a malignant melanoma I am almost certain that mine came from getting sunburnt and not from my diet which was pretty much what is recommended here. The rates of this type of cancer are rocketing. In the UK the rise coincides with the rise in cheaper holidays. Fair skinned people exposing themselves to fierce sun after many months of being covered up and skimping on the protection as they don't want to miss out on tanning time.

This kind of diet is good for preventing all types of cancers but unfortunately mutations in cells can just be the result of bad luck. I think the message is : stop eating so much processed food, reduce the amount of vegetable oil and sugar.

I tried to read some of the research papers but most require signing up to various organisations.

Thanks for posting this.

I tend to agree with this article, especially in that children are suffering Vitamin D deficiencies now that most of their entertainment is indoors, and they are often covered up well when they go outside. A little exposure to the sun is necessary for good health, (although we do need to avoid sun-burn), and eating healthy foods will always improve our body's natural defences.
