So sorry to hear that, suggest you look at the website Forks over Knives and at a whole food plant based no oil diet which you will find on line.
Hello Luciana,so sorry to hear that you had a heart attack and only one week ago ,it's very early day's yet , i'm sure it is a scary thing to be told the arterial is damaged ,i wasnt told ----and didn't ask if my heart was damaged ,but had 3 stents fitted all within 24 hours of my heart attack ,it was during the junior doctors strike ,maybe lucky for me as more senior doctors were taking over their duties ,i wanted to wish you all the best for a happier New Year x love Gill .
Have a look at the Mediterranean diet. Highly recommended to increase heart health
Surely your doctor will be sending you for a dietary / lifestyle consultation after a heart attack. Please consider only taking the advise of experts in such a serious situation especially so soon after it happened.
I wish you the best of luck though as you find the new you

Hello Luciana, I am sorry to hear about your heart attack. Fortunately what is really important is for you to change not only the way you eat but also change the water you drink because it has a massive affect on your health. With over 70% of your body being water it is important not the quantity but the quality of water you drink. I have a Kangen water ionizer that has helped many people with similar situation to yours. What this does is it creates alkaline, anti-oxidant, rich water from your tap and keeps you healthy and in an alkaline state. If you want more information send me a message and I would be happy to share what I know with you. feel better.
For your inspiration:
My 85 year old mother had a heart valve replacement operation some 8 years ago, and she has worked very hard at maintaining her health by walking lots, eating a lot of salad, homemade soups, fish (salmon, trout etc), meat and vegetables with fresh fruit instead of desserts. She might have the occasional biscuit or cake when invited out, but these are the exception rather than the rule. She has maintained her weight at a healthy level and probably added years to her life.
You have only one body, so treat it with respect, so you can enjoy your life to come!
