Too many calories!!!

Does anyone else find that when eating healthily and making good choices or swaps...that they struggle to eat the number of calories suggested by the BMI calculator? Mine suggests I should have between 1800 and 2300 a day... think I've just hit 1450 this evening! And I'm certainly not starving or hungry either... thoughts?

Hi Wendy,

If you feel fine, & you're the right size, forget the calorie counting!

I stick to a clean food diet, & count nutrients.

I really wish. I am only 5'2" and work from home. My recommended calories per day is around 1250. Anything more an then I put it on. It's really not many calories when you think about it so I have to think about meals a lot - in fact, it takes over my life :-(

I've been in that position before when I was loosing weight a few years ago... I found that it ended up meaning a plate of food would be 2/3rds veg or salad and then a 3rd of proteins and meats... as veg tends to have less calories. Bur is still filling...just a thought xx
