A friend of mine did it, and he lost 3 stones in 9 months. I think it's very personal and it depends on how much you eat during the non-fast days. The result isn't immediate, if you need to lose loads of weigh, it'll be a long term success.
well what i used to do.. ( may not be exactly 500 cal) when i DID it.. was just miss out two meals ( allow myself any fruit between meals for a snack as i wanted) usually miss breakfast and lunch.. then have a normal meal in the evening.. was achievable for me that way..
yes I did.. i put on over a stone and a half when i quit smoking .. but doing that allowed me to take it off ( and monitoring it.. looking at body fat contents scales.. I lost body FAT not just weight .. took me a while over a couple of months..(but I wasnt strict with myself.. ) good thing about the way it works.. is you fit it in around YOUR life.. but you have to be disciplined on 'normal' days xxxx
Never heard of this diet until just now, but it seems doable if you make it into a lifestyle change. Good luck.
