Diabetes Reversed Using Low Carb Diet. Looks interesting...
I watched up the programme but the Dr asked them to give up so much, didn't think long term it was going to be achievable
Everyone should watch- Yes Dr Chattergee did ask them to make changes but is it so hard to give up fast food? So hard to give up being obese? What they all spotted was what they were getting not what they were losing.
Focus on the gains! Your not losing eating rubbish food you are gaining decades of fit and active life!
I agree, it's not easy when we are so trained to eat so many carbs, and there are entire aisles devoted to grain products. But like andrewleeone says, it's well worth the effort to make the changes. It will ultimately help to keep you away from the doctor's office!
I've enjoyed this series and last night's was so inspiring. When people have a lot to change in order to improve their lifestyle, perhaps a massive change can be the incentive they need . The lady certainly seemed to embrace it. I wondered if they would have done so well if there wasn't a 'doctor in the house?' he certainly seemed to keep them motivated, even if there was a lot of resistance to begin with.
I'm loving the BBC 'doctor in the house' so informative. I'm learning so much. Its top of my fav's at the moment. I am now reading labels on foods and amazed at how much sugar I was eating.
