Low carb diet is more or less a fad. Still there are dangers with cutting carbs too low long term that cannot be compensated by proteins or fat.
Again a study on the dangers of low carb diet. - Healthy Eating
Again a study on the dangers of low carb diet.
I think an article on this study was shared a couple of weeks ago, and we were a bit wary about it.
The research is gathered by giving a questionnaire to a large group of people, and asking them to recall how much of any given food they've typically eaten over the last 10 years, but the issue is that diets change over time, and you can't rely on people reporting accurately, so I've been warned that studies carried out that way aren't necessarily that reliable.
One news story reported that the study showed that a low carb diet and a very high carb diet both caused increased heart rhythm issues, although low carb had slightly higher instances.
ok sorry!
There's no need to apologise
I'm always a bit wary of studies like this, but it's only fair I say why, rather than outright dismiss your point of view!
Here is some more reading on the importance of carbs.

Jay Feldman has some good points as well.
Hi Simba1992

Low carb diets have their place and can be very useful. Not dangerous if done correctly.
