I was just reading recently about how stress affects your brain function because of the chemicals that are released- muddled thinking, brain fog, etc. That book "stressed" the need for recreation. Good post, thanks!

yes thats how it works it raises insulin lvls so you crave more energy i.e sweets..your insulin lvls fluctuate too much then........if you cant sleep from that it means you pushed it way too much.....you may check your hormone lvls too, thyroid especially

this is no good, but also no diet should put you under more stress. its impossible to loose weight without feeling good and relaxed in your body for at least 12 hours per day so at least during the sleeping time and evening

stress is everything which puts us off from homeostasis for too long. Its perfectly healthy to be few hours per day under small stress otherwise we would never do tasks we need to do for a day....but prolonged stress or the one that lasts all day, for weeks months etc ruins our health!
