Partners are a pain, more ways than one! My boyfriend is a slim Scotsman. Everything he likes and eats is terribly unhealthy, biscuits by the shed-load, haggis with everything, full fat Irn Bru and Coke, you get my drift.....! So! What to do when I need/want healthy and low fat and he wants chips? Sigh!! It's hard, it's caused arguments but I'm sticking to my guns! He will just have to get used to my change of lifestyle as much as I'm trying to adjust my choices for me. MY BODY! MY HEALTH!
Grrrr.... you need to explain calmly how important it is for you to lose weight and eat more healthily and you would appreciate his support. He can eat what he likes but you need encouragement from your partner to stick to the plan. Good luck.
