Flowers I saw in March :-)

Hi everyone,

I thought it might be nice to pin a post for March focusing on the flowers seen whilst out walking - I've named the post 'Flowers I saw in March' rather than naming the seasons, as I know there are members from all parts of the World on the site, and therefore, if you want to join in and share some photos, you can consider which flowers you saw in the month of March, rather than thinking about what season it is in your part of the World.

Anyway, I will pin this post for March, so feel free to post your own collages or photos in the replies, or if you fancy doing your own post, that's fine too! I'd love to see any photos of flowers taken whilst out walking - or indeed, any photos connected to the enjoyment of walking. We currently have 70 'active' members in this community, so I am hoping you're enjoying being here, and if you fancy posting any photos or anything about your walks, it would be great to see them! :-)

Hope you're enjoying March so far. It was a sunnier day here, which was nice. I saw this collection of flowers today, whilst walking along the cliff-paths on the South coast of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands. There's a violet, some Pink Campions, daisies, can't remember the name of the yellow flowers in the middle right, but at the bottom there are daffodils and narcissi. Calendine or something similar is the word that is coming to my mind for the yellow flowers, but I'm not sure!

I shall have a look in my garden tomorrow! There's all sorts all of sudden popping up! Such a pity I have to leave it all behind sometimes in April 🙏

Hi Snowdrops_17

Yes, walking around the garden is also great to enjoy. Maybe capturing some photos of your lovely flowers will be nice memories of them. I will also hope to do a collage from my garden. I look forward to seeing some of your lovely flowers.

Hello Zest, we had bizarre weather in Bath last weekend. Unexpected snow on Saturday, but that soon thawed and we had a dry sunny Sunday.. perfect for a nice walk. Some of the taller daffodils look a bit battered but there are lots of other pretty flowers popping up now.

Hi elliebath

Those crocuses are beautiful. I love the colour. Glad you enjoyed your walk. Let's hope the weather improves in the week ahead as well. :-)
