Hi I’m a 66 year old female who is awaiting a hip replacement I’m overweight and have started healthy eating and walking but on crutches, I have lost sixteen pound in 6 weeks, and quite a few inches, I am really enjoying walking daily and do at least 10,000 steps each day, I have gone from finding it to painful to walk around the house to walking five miles everyday although I have to use the crutches, my muscles are really improving and my mobility is definitely getting easier. I have been told the is a waiting time for the hip operation of over a year, so decided I’m not going to sit down and wait, I’m out there improving my health, weight and mobility
