I've have a walk today and not a jog as an old injury has reappeared so I think jogging will have to go and for me to go back to power walking and cycling. I damaged my knee down to my leg and foot back in 2017 and the injury has reappeared but mainly in the foot so it's now painful to walk on it. Serves me right, I shouldn't have been so enthusiastic jogging on Sunday I'll be looking online shortly for some physio exercises as I remember some that the physio gave me in 2017 but not all.
Anyway, it was a lovely walk all the same apart from a bit of limping. I'll be on the bike tomorrow, much safer.
I hope you like the photos. I walked 14.6 miles in total (it was a little more as I had a hospital appointment this morning and walked to the hospital from our local park and ride).
This is the first set of photos, more to follow in a separate post.
Just please allow yourself a day rest Alicia. You can strain your muscles too much, and need time to recover. Are you walking, jogging or cycling every day???
Bless you and thank you, I'm my own worst enemy and do know that. I have strained my foot too much and know that so I will give up jogging as I got the injury in the first place by going jogging, power walking and cycling from now. Yes I have been out every day since the lockdown, I'm loving it. I will be out in the garden some time this week though helping hubby.
I know you are keeping yourself fit. My third youngest is a sports therapist that's why I know that you need to give your body a days rest, so your muscles can recuperate again. I love what you doing Alicia but think you may have to leave it to 1 day sports and 1 day rest in a way. Do some stretching or a bit of yoga if you like that sort of thing. I did sports when young, but it's hard every day!!!
What an excellent profession a Sports Therapist. I will certainly be giving it a rest and although I attend yoga on a weekly basis under normal conditions if course, I dont practice it in between so I think I'll get a DVD so I've got it to hand.
Thank you so much for your very caring reply, so appreciated.
Yes, I love the photos - really pretty scenery and lovely flowers. Sorry to hear your injury has re-surfaced, and hope you are ok, and recuperate well.
