Hi everyone, I love the colours and the light this time of year as the sun is so low in the sky so it casts a very different and ironically a warmer light even though it’s sharp which makes it very refreshing to walk in the countryside and with views of the forest like this is magical as some of the trees look ghostly and ethereal.
I realise how much we take for granted and how easy it is to miss the subtle changes of nature and our environments as the angle of the sun affects how it illuminates the world and here the morning sun shines on the beautiful silver birch trees enhancing its attractive bark. I often think that the forest looks like an impressionist painting especially in spring and autumn and I love that.
Scenes like this remind me of why I take refuge being amongst nature. I took this photo yesterday morning as it was lovely and sunny.
