Sparkly Sea Today :-)

Hi everyone,

A hot day, weather-wise, and a sparkly sea, here in Guernsey. I enjoyed a walk this morning, which was enjoyable.

Just fantastic! All that clean air! Free for the inhaling.

The scene over the Pacific Ocean is all smoke.

We also have those pink flowers in Northern California.

We call them naked ladies. Wonderful scent. They start blooming in late July and are still gong in September.

Oh dear such a shame about all the smoke! We have family in Australia and last summer it was them suffering from the fires. Must be awful.

I really hope that you can breathe clearer air again soon, it is distressing to see the smoke and effects of the fires.

I haven't tried smelling the scent of the flowers, I will do so next time I see them.

Yes, those are the best.

The air was pretty nice today. We got to open the windows and get rid of the stale air.

I could actually breath on my bike ride this morning.

We had a veggie Drunken Noodle and Tofu dinner.

I am glad to hear you were able to breathe better today - and that you enjoyed your bike ride.

I ended up looking up 'Drunken Noodles' on the internet yesterday, and found a really nice recipe that I'm hoping to try sometime soon. So thanks for the inspiration!

Great! We tend to eat a lot of Asian inspired meals here. Some of are vegetarian so they work well.

Thanks. We didn't have any active cases of Covid-19 for a long stretch of time, and now we've got 1 active case currently. Personally, I am feeling relatively safe here - there aren't many restrictions currently.

That is great news, glad your island is fairly safe! Here in North Yorkshire, well cases are rising here and there! I am really praying it doesn't get any worse....

And around Birmingham lately, got 2 sons with family there! Wished really people would follow precautions and some would stop being careless! Makes me sad ❤️

I absolutely love your sparkling sea photo (another one for your Art Wall in my opinion).
