I enjoyed a walk today and took these photos of the sea. One is the beach at Fermain Bay in Guernsey, and the other is the outdoor swimming pools. It was high tide. People swim there every day of the year, regardless of the weather. Not me though - I hardly ever swim in the sea... Brrrr....

There's an outdoor lido on the promenade at Penzance which is really good.
With going to Penzance from Cardiff if you don't know any better you think at Plymouth you are nearly there but no you aren't it's only halfway!
Years ago they had one in Barry near Cardiff but it shut down and was made into a garden back in the 90s.
Many years ago I had wanted to have gone to the outdoor lido where I lived when I was a little girl on my own and I was 10 at the time and had just learned to swim and was told no and it had stirred up an argument!
We did visit the one in Penzance when we went there years ago and enjoyed it and the Plymouth hoe one.
Years ago in Weston they had a lido called Tropicana which had ended up shut down that I had visited and it ended up being turned into a funfair.
Today it's been a cold walk this morning round the neighbourhood and a party to celebrate it being a year since I left that toxic job for the last time and I had left there with my head held high.
