Morning walk

I had a lovely walk this morning. I walked from the next village and back home. I thought it would do me good as I seem to have hurt my back and when I’m walking it doesn’t hurt. Now sitting with an ice pack on my back and it’s sore again. Trouble is I can’t walk around all day!

I walked through a lovely field. The farmer near us seems to be letting quite a few fields go to meadows. There were loads of butterflies and it looked so beautiful and natural.

I really enjoyed my walk it felt very calm and peaceful.

For some reason I couldn’t load the photo! 🤨

Ali 🙂

Hi Ali

What a lovely walk you had. I'm so sorry you are having problems with your back and when sat down need an ice pack. Very good that walking is good for it but as you say you can't walk around all day. I was wondering as walking seems to be good for it have you thought about some kind of physio ie. stretching?

Another thought, I have a very good friend that has bulging discs so is in a lot of pain but she's found yoga really helps her, just a thought.

Take care Ali.

Thank you Alicia. I’ve had a slipped disk in the past about 10 years ago and I have to say this pinched nerve was worse than that. Anyway it’s gone now. It was terrible at times. I want to go to yoga as I’ve done that in the past but it didn’t finish til 10! Way passed my bed time. Was looking into starting one again but then the dreaded lockdown happened! 🙄

Oh my goodness Ali very painful. Nerve pain bad though, I do think a lot worse than other pain for sure. I'm so glad it's gone.

That's way too late for yoga to finish. My class started at 19:30 which is actually 1/2 an hour later than usual, I prefer it earlier I must say but the teacher who's really lovely, is a Physiotherapist so ideal if you have any problems and she knows what she's doing.

I hope you find a class when they can all open up again.

Take care with your back.

I hope your back feels a bit better. The lovely thing about walking is seeing beautiful things such as the butterflies 🦋
