Although I had to the tarmac again today some of the roads are country ones and quite quiet. I'm pleased with the pace I kept going up a very steep hill today, I need to keep this up as I'm fast walking a marathon distance over the Derbyshire Dales on Sunday 17 May 2020 which is part of a charity walk for the local charities in the area. The Challenge is called 'The Leadenboot Challenge' and takes place from Alstonefield. I'm so looking forward to this as I've only ever power walked 2 half marathons in Bristol on the pavements and have completed the full Moonwalk 4 times in London and again on roads and tarmac so it'll be lovely to take part in this walk over the beautiful Derbyshire Dales.
