I had a lovely little walk at lunch time around the west gate gardens in Canterbury which is about half an hour from where I live. It was warmish and could have been warmer but still had a holiday atmosphere.
The ducks were whizzing down the river which was lovely to see and also some punters which I always think looks fun and reminds me of the time I went punting in Cambridge and lost the punting stick thing up a tree 😂 hence no more punting for me!
Enjoy your day!

Wow, I love your collage - it is a very relaxing and beautiful set of scenes - and I feel like I'm on a virtual discovery alongside you of those gardens in Canterbury. Beautiful flowers too, and calming waters. I feel sure you'd cope better with punting if you gave it another shot - maybe
Haha maybe! Yes it’s lovely gardens. It’s odd but sometimes you have to remember to enjoy what’s on your doorstep rather than looking further afield. I often go to Canterbury but not to the gardens. I enjoyed it and it made a change 🙂
This all looks very pretty Ali and it sounds like going boating with you ends in being up the creek without a paddle...or punt stick thingy...😂
