Here's a photo I took yesterday afternoon at the lake, there were quite a few of these geese there and you can see how large they are compared to the sea gull.
It was a lovely afternoon for a walk and I walked along a path on the edge of the forest so it was all very pleasant and great exercise. I do like ponds and lakes especially ones like this which are in the forest.
I walked around 4.5 miles in 2 hours which was a lovely way to spend a couple of hours on a sunny Spring afternoon. Being surrounded by nature is so good for us especially when the weather is good.
Thank you Debs, I live in the Forest of Dean and think that eagles and crested tits are found more in the forests in Scotland but if I do I'll do my best to take a photo as I'd love to see both of them. π
Hi Debs and please don't apologise and I'd love to see a crested tit, I love gold crests too as they are very small and weigh less than 100g and migrate here from N Africa. π
