Hello, guys.
I only found this site this morning after contacting Headway last week. I found their support extremely helpful and supportive. I gave my right temple a severe bash getting into my wife's car 10 days ago. Everything seems surreal, and I'm having problems remembering peoples names.
The adviser reassured me that this was quite normal, and consistent with such an injury - hopefully won't last more than 2 -3 weeks.
It's really good to know such professional advice is available. I would encourage anyone to use it. It provided immense relief for me.
Hi, I had SAH a year ago and only found this site a few weeks ago but I know think of it as my comfort blanket, crazy I know but up till then had no one to talk to about this who understood
Hugs Linda
sorry never heard of your operation, I had a 'de bulking operation in 2007, and am due to have it done again this Wednesday, this time via my nose
hi nice to see you on the site , i had my tbi over 15 years ago and then it was a bit of a stigma, people didnt understand and didnt want to, at least todasy there are places like headway cardiff, and i think swansea where like people meet and can spend a pleasant day without fear of being ridiculed or laughed at.
You got your TBI from a motor bike accident? Well at least it was doing something you loved hey hun.... Have you got back in the saddle yet? I cannaot ride my Honda as i have balance problems and weakness in right side so i got a BOOM trike. This TBI wasnt going to stop me doing what i loved. Pants tho when it comes to TRAFFIC! i cannot slip down the side of it on a trike, lol. What bike did you ride p82? fellow biker -Lainey x
