hello to everyone. I have rolled up here whilst searching what’s been happening to me online. I admit, I was beginning to worry so thank you to everyone who has contributed. It is a relief to see so many people have these experiences but - in general - seem to be waking up and remaining in good health.

I’ve been having what I think are called hypnic jerks when I’m falling asleep. It’s been a regular thing for a while - I’ve wondered if I have nerve damage or lack some vitamin or other and really, I don’t know.

Two nights ago I had been taking a supplement for a painful lower back called MSM sulphur and it had strong detox effects. I eventually managed to fall asleep and I had the most incredible experience. I was dreaming that I was in a situation which was slightly frightening but which also made me angry. In the dream, I looked down at my arm and saw goosebumps and I knowingly kind of leant in to the feeling causing the goosebumps. Suddenly my entire body was surrounded by electricity. When this happened, the palms of my hands also clamped together tightly - almost completing a circuit? - this has made me think about why people put hands together in prayer? Also, the base of my spine felt like something clamped onto it like a vault as if it were being locked in and pushed inwards. Then I was saying to myself ‘keep it going, keep it going’ I wanted this thing to continue. Eventually I woke up.

was it a seizure?

was it something astral?

was it a reboot or was I dying in my sleep and my body brought me back with an electrical reworking?

I would love to know your thoughts. Perhaps this has always happened to lots of people but they didn’t have the ability to share it like this. I don’t know. It would, of course, be the most attractive idea to believe it is ‘an awakening’ then again, do I need more magnesium.

strangly, just as I typed that, there was lightening in the sky!

I look forward to hearing more of your experiences

Do you have a brain injury or is it only the bad back/ spine that is affecting you? It makes a difference.
