"visit day"and still "Bonkers"

soo,went shopping mon and somehow managed to buy large mirror,2 sets drawers and a dressing table(charity shop too good to miss)so a lot of painting yet my freinds...my little socks survived the ordeal of the groom experience,he struggled a bit,cried a lot and nipped me but he was filthy so it needed to be done.she said what a lovely freindly dog and he now has a very nice red bow on his collar(this is very clever promo/ad i think)just needs his nails clipped,i think i can do this but no nail polish this time!!!you know,i estimate i could move into the "pit of terror" some time before xmas...today was visit day,was soaked when i got there bout 1.30.they had lunch and decided to get karaoke out...sean wouldnt leave lounge(he was always tone deaf)omg.....yep that was good!that said,in all of the madness,i can see him,who he was,and how hard he is trying to "become"again...i stood at door and sang with him "back in the u.s.s.r"..mmm...

Quite some project this refurb has turned into D ! It brings back memories from 20+ years ago when I was hunting around charity shops & boot sales for oak furniture to strip and re-varnish. It's pretty damned satisfying seeing the dramatic transformation.

And a revamped Sox too. Poor baby was obviously happy as a pig in muck and then came the shampoo pandemonium ! But no doubt he had a new swagger afterwards with his gleaming coat and bow tie... 😁😎

It's really good hearing about your visit with Sean and your comments about his trying to 'become'. Not the most appropriate song in today's climate, but I'm imagining the scene and smiling !)
