RIP Archie Battersbie, such a sad story and fight by mum and medical team, with sadly a beautiful young man losing his life at the end of it, may he now rest in peace. Xx

Yes Alice ; a tragic loss of such a beautiful, energetic and gifted child. What his mum and other family are going through doesn't bear thinking about... RIP lovely boy.

Yes, Ali, a tragic loss but it was regrettable that hospital and family ended up on opposite sides of a courtroom. Since my own experience of a DNAR being placed onto my notes without the knowledge, never mind agreement, of my next of kin, I no longer trust doctors implicitly to have the best interests of the patient at the forefront of their minds. I do wonder sometimes if the “God Complex”is too powerful to resist. Rest in peace, poor child.
