Am I one of the only people to have had their brain 'carpeted'? 🤔

Hello everyone. 5yrs ago I was pretty poorly with a number of 'challenges'. I had suffered a skull fracture when I was 12 which left some damage that only let itself be known 5yrs ago. I had a fairly long surgery (8hrs) involving 3 full surgical teams. The front left side incurred quite a bit of damage. Now, the carpeting part is where the membrane that covers the brain is cut, the olfactory nerve is severed and the front of the brain is lifted partially out of the skull (i had to have a bilateral craniotomy for this). The membrane is then pulled right around the front of the brain and attached to the underside. And that is carpeting. I'm sure I've explained it very crudely but that's the only real way it makes any sense to me. I know I was the first man to have this done but I'd love to hear if anyone else has.
