Hi lovely people.just got off phone with sons consultant.they are hoping to within next couple of days remove throat and peg feeding tubes.it seems he is a popular member of the h.d.u " gang". They have constant battles over how much music he gets to listen to! He had actually tried to get out of bed y/day!they need to move him but want him to have the very best help.this would be a unit connected to the hospital but its to do with " funding". This consultant is determined to get him a place there and has one of his people working on it.so they will move him to another ward until a place becomes available. Here's hoping...

It sounds like everything is going the right way for your son, funding is always a problem, but it sounds like you have a good team working on it. Really pleased to hear this news.
