Now and again, I do remember the act of kindness to oneself. The times we are living through make this even more imperative - carrying out the simplest of rituals keeps me grounded, and not looking fretfully to what lies ahead. One day at a time!
Some positive youtube videos have helped me through the current times. I am trying to find my centre, peace and rediscover whats been lost.
So I'm asking, what acts of kindness are you sticking by? & I leave below a link to what I've been tuned to;

An act of kindness to the self, I'm finding, starts with the daunting task of unravelling and understanding what has happened over a period of years following a brain injury. Finding that trust in a system had disappeared and was replaced by confusion, anger and hopelessness; which manifested into the will to fight and tread on toes and be honest and express what was really seen and experienced and to point it out to others. The kindness is unpacking this all and looking at the self too, where does the angst come from? Answering this is the biggest act of kindness to the self and regains a better self, hopefully, in the long term.
