As an Armed Forces Veteran, and brain injury survivor,i have found the lockdown very hard,i miss my twice a week visits to Headway daycentre, where i meet up with what i like to say is my second family,i suffer with ptsd, and this isolation lockdown, has not helped that, but i have found one thing to help me try and cope,as a professional Dj of over 30 years,i have thrown myself into a music project,Djs Against Covid 19,which is six music shows,50s,60s,70s,80s,90s,and of course the 00s,each show is full of original music tracks from that decade, with my own personel Dj jingles thrown in plus a constant reminder to,stay at home, protect the NHS,save lives, each show is seperate so the listener can make their own choice of which show they like to listen to.This project has given me alot of help to cope with the lockdown,it will not stop flashback nightmares nor the day to day problems that my brain injury brings, but it has given me alot of pleasure and help to keep myself occupied.

COPING WITH PTSD IN ISOLATION
Hi Josh
Nice to hear that you have something to break away from the monotony of the lockdown and found something you enjoy doing.
It would be nice if you where able to share your shows - if so, would it be possible to share a link here so we can all have a 'stay at home disco'
All the best
DA
Hey Josh, yoh
Well done you for having your outlet and doing what you are able to do.
I work still but the lock down and the isolation, distancing are so uncomfortable for me. But work gives me something to do. I am a nurse with a head injury from years ago. There are some things bubbling here a bit.
Anyway keep DJ ING, stay safe and well xxx Linda
Josh, I suspect you didn't play for MUFC but unfortunately someone did so Google hasn't allowed me to find this service.
Could you provide a link please?
COULDN'T HEADWAY GROUP HAVE MEETINGS VIRTUALLY?
