Had to go to Docs so wrote a list of what was worrying me went around Docs. Looked in handbag for list. Looked at Doc and said I haven't been well..rambled on as forgot list I wanted him to say natural bet he thought "Silly Woman" as he is a rude man and doesn't suffer fools gladly ..I felt like No. 1 fool xxxxx But no problem I had Husband to remind me !
Never had a problem with my GP's doctors when compiling a list of stuff to bring up. " It helps you to remember your concerns and helps us to see what we might be able to do to help you," is their take on it.
As for remembering the list, I put it in my shoe the night before I need it. This might seem odd to those who have a dozen pairs of regularly worn shoes...but I don't, so it works!
The other day I got dressed for work. My trousers felt tight and I told myself I must go on a diet. When I got back home I went to get changed, I took off my trousers and I had on a pair of trousers under that. I took those off and had another pair of trousers under that! I must have got dressed three times...?
Ha ha. I've no problem putting the iron on, it's turning it off I forget. I now have a poster by the front door which asks, ' Have you locked the back door? Turned the iron off? Picked up your keys?'!!
