Greater Manchester Neuro-Rehabilitation Patient and Carer Network

Hi, Pinkvision has asked me to write a little about the above.

As its name suggests it. Overs the whole of the Greater Manchester area, my rehab consultant suggested i join to contribute where possible on trying to improve the availabity of services to those living with neuro conditions.

We meet bi- monthly for 2 hours, it is purely voluntary, and our focus at the moment is a Patient and Carer Conference to try and get the information out there.

We are hoping this conference will become a yearly event once finalised i will post details on the Healthunlocked site.

Hi Janet, thank you very much. I searched my health authority and they have something similar, however it is not focused on a particular area. It seems to be a method of constructive complaint procedures. Will look into it this week.

I was surprised to find that many areas within my health authority are under crisis management.
