I'm so sorry you're struggling with the after-effects of your op. m'love. I was lucky enough to have been spared the problem of seizures, but I know from others how it can take a while finding compatible meds to get them under control...…….and how awful they are to cope with in the meantime.

Please speak with Headway staff directly as they can offer specialist advice to address specific problems. They are a caring team who've 'rescued' so many folk over the years from fearfulness and despair. Please call them on 0808 800 224 (office hrs - free calls) and tell them your concerns ; I think you'll be glad you did.

……...and we're always here ! Cat x

Time will help, it's a slow slow process, time and patience. I had a brain heamorrage Jan 2019 it was a burst aneurysm ( that I was totally unaware of) I honestly thought I had a brain tumour. Getting well is just so slow, good days and bad but all aiming towards getting better. Take your time, try to manage your expectations ( don't expect too much too soon).

Had seizures or as I call them fits since 14 now an old Dear. I thought I had enough in life so nothing can harm me, and the seizures were well under control but along came my SAH and they got even worse. But I went back on pills I was on before SAH as hospital had downed dosage . Be very careful of what you take as they put you on anti epilepsy but they have to suit the person not the Docs! (Us in this case), my own GP tried to change mine by upping them and I told him I was told by specialist not to take anymore as on highest dose already. So always make sure you ask them the after effects. Wish you good luck as they are scarey things to have . But I am old and if I can manage them so can you, lots have them after a bleed. I wish you good luck and hope they go as some do. Chin up and try and not stress but easier said than done . Wishing you well ..Win the old wrinkly XXXX
