Hi,
Carer job description
• Cooking meals.
• Dressing disable people.
• Cleaning house rooms.
• Administering medication.
• Providing emotional support.
There is are two different roles; Carer that looks after your well-being and welfare and Assistant.
A Carer will make sure that you are safe, clean, fed, clothed, warm etc. The Government makes an award payment for this.
An Assistant which can be paid for by the local authority or as part of an Injury claim would do all the softer parts of "care" making sure the bills are paid, taking someone to a hairdresser and doing other smaller tasks. One of which could be taking a dog for a walk or pet to a vet.
