3D and spacial issues, positive results

Hi I'd like to share a process that I've been trying out that has had brilliant results and it's free.

If you've seen any of my past posts you'll know I've had visual issues. Anyway I'm always trying to find a way to improve. A psychologist called Donalee Markus came up with an idea decades ago where clients with visual issues were given pages of paper with dots on it in various patterns, the clients basically had to join the dots and make 2D and 3D structures. This process worked for people and is described in the book 'The ghost in my brain.'

I could not find any of these pages of patterned dots anywhere so I tried basically just doodling with lines and dots building up random structures. It's basically an unconscious process, not thinking about it too much. I've been doing this at least once a day for 5 weeks or so and bingo I've had a huge improvement in my visual processing.

It all started 2D for a while but I noticed as the doodling progressed the images formed became more intricate and started to become 3D. As I continued types of structure became an automatic process and the image building became more deliberate.

I practice meditation as part of my treatment and I found I was visualising images, then I deliberately tried to draw them, I would get the main theme down not in a good artistic way but the basic structure was there, out of proportion to an extent but it was there.

So what I've noticed is that as I have progressed my visual experience in the outside world has improved by a great extent, it seems to have had a larger effect in all aspects of life. I'd say this is a process that works and worth giving a try.

Warning when first starting it makes you fatigued and you also get weird dreams, however this improves over the weeks. I think it may have something to do with making the process automatic rather that effort, basically it's promoting neural regeneration with practice.

Hope this helps someone.

How horrible for you though.

I'm so glad some improvement..I know it's never in a linear line.

Take care
