First go!

This is my first attempt at an online forum. I'm a bit of a techno idiot but here goes.

I am the mother of a son who was badly injured in a car v cycle (he ws the cyclist) accident. He suffered a traumatic brain injury and was lucky to survive. He has ended up with slower thinking and severely compromised sight due to over stretched optic nerve. He has been granted the higher levels of PIP and didn't have to go to tribunal. Never give up on PIP but get all the written medical evidence you can to support your claim.

My son is now 25.

Anyone else out there with a similar problem. Would love someone to share this with.

Hello, I have not been in the same situation as it was me that went through the brain injury due to subarachnoid haemorrhage. It was 26 years ago next week!

All I can say is, having loving supportive people around is the best. My son was only 10 when I had mine and I am so lucky that he has developed into a wonderful son and is just as loving towards his wife and my grandchildren.

Love and caring is the way forward and taking time to do the important things like spending time with each other.

I hope all works out well xx
