I have had 2 CT scans for pain in my back in right side and side. Both showed nothing. I really thought was my kidney...but urologist said nothing was wrong. When I cook dinner , i have to take a breaks in between. Im sooo scared they are just gonna say nothing is wrong.....its bad when u hope something shows up because you dont want to look like a liar or just a cry baby. Ive been in pain since April and Im gettn very tired. Ive had to put life on hold becus of this. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I'm not sure anyone will have answers for you m'dear as this is a forum for people with brain injury. Maybe you could refer back to the HealthUnlocked list of support sites and look for one pertaining to abdominal issues.

Good luck in getting help.... 💐

Dear Bugs,

I am so very sorry to hear about the extent of your pain. The weariness and desperation come across clearly in your post. The pain is bad enough, but you are dealing with the uncertainty as well and, of course, without a diagnosis you do not have the satisfaction of starting a course of treatment.

The good thing is that your doctor(s) clearly are taking you seriously or they would not have ordered the MRI. If they did not believe you they might well have tried to tell you that the CT was conclusive.

You may benefit from reading about the two technologies online. One such article: is healthline.com/health/ct-sc... It suggests that the MRI can often catch things that the CT scan can see that the CT scan cannot.

Best of luck! I also hope that you find the online group with similar experience.

Regards,

Taia
